At 1 year old, we noticed that something just wasn’t right, he would bang his head constantly and he stopped speaking. He has started therapy to help him catch up to the rest of the kids and cope with his frustrations. He was diagnosed with Autism and Global Developmental Delay. Its going to be a long, hard road for the rest of our lives and even though he cannot speak, he works very hard to communicate.

 

He loves to draw and sit with Momma while she works in her shop. One day Momma walked in on him drawing on a customers skirt! To her surprise the customer loved it! Since then, Elijah's drawing as been apart of our logo.

 

Elijah literally touches every skirt that leaves momma’s shop, whether it’s drawing on it, catching the extra cut fabric, pulling the clips off as I sew or placing the labels on the packages. Every skirt you purchase will have a clothing tag with my logo and Elijah's drawing.

Using my platform has allowed me to spread some awareness and acceptance for the Autism Community. Thank you so much for showing your support and patience with my little shop.
